WWE Reportedly Ending The PG Era

For years now WWE has been pushing PG programming, but it looks like that could be coming to an end very soon. Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast is reporting that starting with the July 18th episode of Monday Night Raw the company will start to move in a different direction with a TV-14 Rating. According to Zarian the PG era is over.

WWE started moving in the PG direction in June of 2008, but fans have often expressed an interest in seeing the company put together an edgier product.

It’s not clear at this point in time if SmackDown will also be moving from TV-PG to TV-14 next week. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
