WWE is constantly developing new storylines and angles for fans to enjoy, but unfortunately fans have quickly come to realize that some of these storylines go nowhere.
Last month at the WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view Otis put his Money in the Bank briefcase on the line against The Miz, and it was Miz who won the contract after Tucker turned on Otis and hit him with the briefcase.
After the match Otis and Tucker brawled backstage, but it doesn’t look like fans should expect much more from this storyline.
Dave Meltzer noted in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that atfer Tucker’s loss to Ricochet on Raw he’s “deader faster after the Otis split up than was hinted to me.”
The heel turn angle was reportedly just shot to get the Money in the Bank briefcase off of Otis.
There are currently no plans to build an Otis vs. Tucker feud, and it’s being said that the angle has been dropped.
