WWE Reportedly Discussing Partnership With NJPW

Over the last few months fans have seen some interesting crossovers between AEW, Impact, NWA, NJPW and others, and it seems that the Forbidden Door is open.

WWE is a company that is known for not playing well with others, but with the wrestling world changing at a rapid pace fans have wondered if WWE could change their stance on working with other companies.

Now the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE and NJPW are in talks about a possible partnership. According to the report NJPW officials have been in talks with WWE President & Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan about WWE becoming the official American partner for NJPW.

It’s being said that the isolationist attitude of WWE vs. everyone is now changing under Nick Khan, however a possible partnership with NJPW would prevent NJPW from working with other companies.

The two companies have reportedly been in talks for a few months, but it’s not known at this time if anything will come of the discussions. Stay tuned for updates.
