Earlier this year WWE released a number of talents and employees from across the board, and it looks like more cuts are on the way.
WWE Hall of Famer Gerald Brisco recently confirmed that he was let go, and PWInsider is reporting that Brisco is part of another round of financial cutbacks for WWE.
At this point it’s not exactly clear how widespread the cuts will be, or if any talents will be cut. The cuts that are being made are expected to be made today.
It’s being said that the cuts may be a case of WWE not bringing back employees who were furloughed, but that hasn’t been confirmed. It’s worth noting that Gerald Brisco was furloughed back in April, but was officially released today.
