For most wrestlers making it to WWE is their biggest goal, but not everyone who signs with WWE can make it to the top of the card. There are only so many spots at the top, but WWE has quite a few valuable midcard wrestlers who are undoubtedly talented and fun to watch.
However, it sounds like the midcard stars of WWE aren’t making quite as much as they used to in comparison to how they were paid a few years ago.
Independent wrestler Ben Hamin broke the news about Dolph Ziggler’s new contract, and now he’s making another claim regarding WWE contracts. Hamin recently claimed on his podcast that midcard wrestlers in WWE are now making half of what they made in 2010.
Hamin went on to say that he got this information from, “mid-card guys that I know, ex-OVW talent”.
If Braun Strowman wins the first ever 7 man Elimination Chamber match on Sunday, then he will go on to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 34.
Paul Heyman recently took to Twitter to say that Brock Lesnar doesn’t fear Braun Strowman, but The Advocate quivers when he hears his name.
