Last month WWE announced coronavirus related budget cuts, and the company released talents, furloughed producers, and also parted ways with quite a few names from other departments as well.
PWInsider recently reported that WWE enacted new cost cutting measures last week due to the pandemic, and company officials and executives received word that they would be getting pay cuts due to the pandemic.
Dave Meltzer also noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that producers and referees are also seeing pay cuts up to 20 percent because of the pandemic.
It was noted that not all of the producers and referees had their pay cut, but “most” of them did.
Stay tuned for updates as they become available.
