AEW and NXT have been going head to head for weeks now, and even though some have insisted there’s no war, people from both sides of the fence have been taking shots at one another.
In January All Elite Wrestling is set to roll through Miami, and the company recently surprised fans when they announced that one of their January shows will be using the Bash at the Beach name.
Bash at the Beach is a name that’s quite familiar to wrestling fans, but some were baffled as to how AEW could use the name.
Fightful Select is reporting that WWE is considering taking some sort of action against AEW to stop them from using the name.
It’s also being reported that while Cody Rhodes owns the trademark for Bash at the Beach, WWE owns the trademark for “The Bash” and would argue that AEW’s shows might get confused with their own property.
