There’s no denying that the NXT roster is loaded with talent, and wrestling fans know that any one of NXT’s top stars could be called up to the main roster at any moment.
Fightful Select reports that LA Knight and Raquel Gonzalez have both been pitched as potential main roster call-ups. However, it’s being reported that most in NXT expect Raquel Gonzalez to get called up, but LA Knight’s situation is said to be not as certain.
One of the ideas that’s been pitched would see LA Knight be used as a manager to due his mic work which is highly acclaimed. Back in January LA Knight defeated Roderick Strong in a dark match, and Raquel Gonzalez picked up a win over Toni Storm in a dark match back in October.
Gonzalez was later brought back to defeat Io Shirai in a dark match in February, and there have reportedly been several pitches to call her up that have not come to fruition.
The pitches have been made, but it’s not clear if WWE will end up moving forward with these plans. Stay tuned for more updates.
