Rey Mysterio wrestled at the Royal Rumble back in January, and he also competed in the Greatest Royal Rumble back in April.
Ever since then there’s been a lot of talk about Rey Mysterio’s WWE return, and it was recently reported that the former World Heavyweight Champion has signed a two year deal with the company.
It’s expected that we’ll be seeing Mysterio on WWE programming sooner rather than later, and it looks like a potential dream match is on the table for Rey.
Ringside News is reporting that one idea that’s being discussed internally is for Rey Mysterio to make his WWE return at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, and Shinsuke Nakamura is being considered for his opponent.
There’s no word on whether or not the US Title will be on the line in the match, but Shinsuke vs. Rey is reportedly an option for Crown Jewel.
