Bray Wyatt was released from WWE last month, and fans were shocked to find out that the former Universal Champion had been let go. Even though Bray Wyatt is no longer with WWE he still has his fair share of supporters in the WWE Universe, and on Saturday night some fans tried to pay homage to Wyatt at SummerSlam.
However, it seems that WWE did not appreciate Wyatt references showing up in the crowd as Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Bray Wyatt stuff was being confiscated at SummerSlam.
It was also noted that one sign did make it on the air during the Baron Corbin vs. Big E match, but the cameras panned away quickly. According to the report the sign was confiscated, and the situation got heated, but the fan did eventually give up the sign.
Bray Wyatt himself acknowledged the sign that was shown during the Corbin vs. Big E match as he retweeted two pictures of the sign.
Bray Wyatt is currently waiting out his non-compete clause, but it was recently reported that he’s expected to join AEW and you can get more on that here.
