Becky Lynch finally got a shot at the SmackDown Women’s Championship when she faced Carmella and Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam, and just when it seemed like she had it won, Charlotte snuck in and picked up the win.
Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch have been friends for a long time, but after the match Becky turned heel and destroyed Charlotte, much to the delight of the fans.
Becky then tried to cut a heel promo on the following episode of SmackDown Live, but the fans just ended up cheering for her.
Ringside News is reporting that WWE officials are changing creative plans for Becky Lynch, and she’ll be booked in more of a tweener role going forward instead of as a traditional heel.
Lynch is still over with the fans despite her recent turn, and WWE has been paying attention.
