The coronavirus was officially declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization, and many events have been canceled due to coronavirus. Now Friday night’s episode of SmackDown can be added to the list.
PWInsider is reporting that Friday’s TV taping of SmackDown at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, MI has been canceled.
The taping will instead be moved to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL.
It’s being reported that the decision to cancel the taping was made due to the coronavirus.
An official announcement is expected to be made soon.
There’s currently no word on the status of Monday’s episode of WWE Raw.
