WrestleMania season is heating up, and fans recently saw a huge title change on Monday Night Raw when Bobby Lashley defeated The Miz to win the WWE Championship.
Lashley recently dropped the United States Championship to Riddle at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, and it sounds like WWE originally had another title change planned for the show.
According to Fightful Select original plans for the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view called for Lacey Evans to defeat Asuka and win the Raw Women’s Championship.
Plans for the title change had to be canceled after it was revealed that Lacey Evans is pregnant.
The idea was for Lacey Evans to feud with Charlotte Flair until WrestleMania, but there are no plans to continue the feud.
Charlotte Flair made it clear on Monday Night Raw that she wants to challenge Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 37. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
