Over the last few years NXT has become much more than just WWE’s developmental brand, and from time to time fans have seen main roster stars return to NXT.
Now it’s being reported that a former NXT Champion was looking to return to the brand, but his request was denied by WWE officials.
According to WrestleVotes, there’s more to the story behind the scenes regarding the release of Aleister Black’s wife, Zelina Vega. It was noted that Aleister Black recently requested to return to NXT, and that his request was denied.
While his request isn’t directly tied to Zelina Vega’s release, there’s said to be dissension among the parties involved in the situation.
There’s a bit more behind the scenes to the Zelina Vega release. Frustration from both sides is an understatement. While it can’t be directly tied to today’s news, Aleister Black recently requested to move back to NXT and was denied. Dissension amongst the parties involved.
