You never know when WWE might switch things up with the announce teams and the company recently did just that when they removed Michael Cole from SmackDown. Now the two man team on the SmackDown brand consists of just Kevin Patrick and Corey Graves.
PWInsider is now reporting that some people in WWE are watching Kevin Patrick closely to see how he does on Friday Night SmackDown without Michael Cole steering the ship.
There’s a feeling in some circles that Kevin Patrick really needs to step up in the months ahead if he wants to maintain his position at the commentary table on the Friday Night SmackDown brand. Kevin Patrick first started working as a commentator on Monday Night Raw in 2022 and he was moved to SmackDown in 2023.
