When it comes to picking up a victory sometimes WWE Superstars have to pull out all the stops, but it looks like there’s at least one move no one will be hitting anytime soon.
PWInsider is reporting that WWE has opted to remove powerbombs into turnbuckles, also known as bucklebombs, from the authorized moves list.
The bucklebomb has been seen as a somewhat controversial move over the last few years after Sting was injured while taking the move during a match with Seth Rollins. It was his final match and he later went on to retire.
Kairi Sane also recently took a scary bump on the buckles during a recent Raw match against Nia Jax.
The move is currently banned, but it’s also worth noting that moves such as Seth Rollins’ stomp and the shooting star press have been banned, only to return later. The piledriver is an example of a move that has been banned, and remains banned in WWE.
