It was noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE is back in the picture in regards to the TNA sale talks. The situation is complicated, and Dixie Carter can sell to whoever she wants to.
WWE would mainly be interested in purchasing the tape library, and if they do purchase TNA that means the company would be done, although they would likely keep a few wrestlers.
Billy Corgan hasn’t been shy about letting people know he’s attempting to purchase the company, but a deal has yet to be made. Corgan recently spoke to ESPN and told them that his first move would be to change the name of the company if he purchases TNA.
Bound For Glory is coming up on Sunday, and TNA has Impact tapings scheduled for next week, which will need funding. It’s said that time is running out and a deal needs to be made by Friday.
Speaking of Bound For Glory, Broken Matt Hardy recently revealed that his favorite Bound For Glory moment is when he got his first taste of the Title of the World last year. You can check out the clip below.
