It’s been a crazy week for the three former members of The Shield. Roman Reigns lost his WWE World Heavyweight Championship to Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank on Sunday and then Seth Rollins lost to belt to Dean Ambrose the same night.
The next night on Raw it was announced that all three members will face off in a triple threat match for the WWE Title at Battleground on July 24. Things took a strange turn earlier today when WWE announced that Roman Reigns has been suspended for 30 days because of a wellness policy violation.
After the news hit the Internet Dave Melter reported via a breaking news audio update on F4Wonline.com that WWE was aware of Roman’s wellness policy violation before Money in the Bank on Sunday. That means WWE knew that Roman Reigns was going to be suspended and they still went ahead and announced the triple threat for Battleground.
Soon after news of his suspension hit the Internet fans started talking about whether or not Roman Reigns should be pulled from the match. However, it seems likely that the match will still be taking place given that officials knew about the violation and still announced the match regardless.
