WWE Reportedly Attempted To Bring Back Two Former Champions For The Royal Rumble

On Sunday night the Royal Rumble pay-per-view took place from Minute Maid Park in Houston, TX and the show featured several returns.

It seems as if WWE had more potential returns in the plans, as PWInsider is reporting that there were attempts to bring in Melina and Victoria for the show on Sunday.

Obviously neither one of the former WWE Superstars appeared on the show.

There’s no word on why the returns didn’t happen on Sunday, but Melina worked the NWA Powerr tapings in Atlanta over the weekend.

What was your favorite moment from the Royal Rumble pay-per-view? Sound off in the comments below.
