WWE has released a number of Superstars in 2020, and on Friday the company confirmed that Zelina Vega has been released when they issued the following statement:
“Zelina Vega released
WWE has come to terms on the release of Zelina Vega. We wish her all the best in her future endeavors.”
The reason for her release is currently unknown, but it’s worth noting that shortly before WWE announced her release she took to Twitter to say, “I support unionization.”
Vega is currently married to Aleister Black, and she was recently moved from Raw to SmackDown in the 2020 Draft.
Zelina Vega posted the following on Twitter after she was released:
“I want to say thank you all very much for the last 3-4 years @WWEUniverse, it was incredible. I would have never have been able to say “this is for you dad” if certain people did not believe in me. I love you all and I couldn’t have done it without your support ”
