This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw set up a big match for SummerSlam when Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins made their way to the ring. Following their segment last week on Raw, Rollins told Ambrose that he was done playing around, and he reached out and offered his fist to Ambrose. Dean rejected Rollins, and they ended up brawling until Sheamus and Cesaro came out and attacked them.
Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins them teamed up against Cesaro and Rollins, and after they fought them off, Raw General Manager Kurt Angle announced that Rollins and Ambrose will get their chance to win the Raw Tag Team Titles when they face off against Sheamus and Cesaro at SummerSlam.
Due to Bayley’s shoulder injury, she was pulled from the Raw Women’s Championship match at SummerSlam, and this week Sasha Banks and Nia Jax ended up facing off in a number one contenders match to determine who would face Alexa Bliss at Summerslam. In the end it was Sasha Banks who picked up the victory after she made Nia Jax tap out to the Banks Statement, and she will now go on to face the current Raw Women’s Champion on August 20.
