Both of these teams were way over. Cesaro and Sheamus have established a real respect-filled following as they ran through each other, and then the entire Raw tag division. Enzo and Big Cass were naturally over and Corey Graves commented that Enzo looked like he got the jacket he was wearing from Betty White’s closet. Neat old lady clothes are coming back in fashion, that’s something.
Colin Cassady and Sheamus started things off for their teams and Cass took over briefly until Sheamus got the upper hand. Cass battled both Cesaro and Sheamus until Cassady was able to hit Sheamus with a slam and get the tag to Enzo.
Amore ended up getting hit off of the top rope and took a pretty nasty spill to the outside allowing Sheamus to take further advantage of The Smack Talker Skywalker. Enzo kept playing the part of a human crash-test dummy until he was able to scurry away from his adversaries. Just as he was leaping for a tag to Big Cass, Cesaro knocked him out of the air with a stiff forearm uppercut.
Cass eventually got the tag and hit Sheamus with a nice fallaway slam, a splash in the corner, and tried for a big boot, but The Celtic Warrior got the tag to Cesaro. The Swiss Superman took over from there and hit Cass with a number of moves but Enzo interrupted his attempt at the Cesaro Swing.
Cass hit Cesaro with the “East River Crossing” finishing move and got the clean win.
Huh, how about that. Oh yeah, Enzo grabbed the microphone after the match spouting off about how they had the Kryptonite for The Swiss Superman and Sheamus kicked him in the head as a huge “Thank you Sheamus” chant broke out.
