The Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live rosters are looking very different following the Superstar Shake-Up, and last week former WWE Intercontinental Champion Zack Ryder was drafted to the red brand.
Monday night, Zack wrestled Mike Kanellis during the Main Event tapings, but unfortunately for Ryder he was injured during the match.
According to Zack Ryder, he suffered a knee injury, and he will not be traveling to Saudi Arabia for the Greatest Royal Rumble on Friday.
Ryder also confirmed that he will be heading to Florida to get a MRI.
This is unfortunate news for Zack Ryder, as he’s no stranger to injuries. Zack tore his ACL during a match in December of 2016, and he spent several months sitting on the sidelines before he returned to action in April of 2017.
Hopefully for Zack’s sake, the injury won’t keep him out of action for very long.
