WWE has made some major adjustments due to the coronavirus pandemic, and in recent weeks some fresh faces have been getting TV time on Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown.
Apollo Crews has been appearing on the red brand, but unfortunately for him he was recently pulled from the Money in the Bank ladder match due to a storyline injury he suffered when he was attacked by Andrade.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter the Money in the Bank ladder match was filmed on 4/13 and the plan was always for Apollo Crews to be pulled and AJ Styles to be added to the match.
There’s also speculation that Crews could be turning heel soon and will be joining the new stable with MVP, Brendan Vink and Shane Thorne.
It’s being said that Apollo turning heel and joining the stable is one of several options on the table for the Raw star, but it’s not necessarily the direction WWE is going to go.
