This week’s episode of Raw aired live from the Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, Rhode Island and Bron Breakker kicked off the show with a promo. Breakker went off on Sami Zayn and he promised to maul Sami during their match on Raw.
When it came time for Sami to face off against Bron Breakker, Sami was attacked by Karrion Kross as he made his entrance. Kross beat Sami down with a pipe before he could make his way to the ring.
WWE officials broke up the altercation and Sami told Adam Pearce that he still wanted to face Bron Breakker. During the match Breakker absolutely destroyed Sami as he connected with the spear three times before he picked up the victory.
Later in the show during a backstage segment Bron Breakker expressed disappointment regarding Karrion Kross and his attack on Sami. Breakker said that now people are going to think he couldn’t take out Sami all by himself. Seth Rollins told Breakker that no one likes Kross. He added that Sami was the target, and Bron took him out.
Paul Heyman walked into the room with a shocked look on his face shortly after. Seth Rollins asked him what was going on and Paul Heyman said he had just been informed that Sami Zayn is now out of action indefinitely.
