At the moment the WWE roster is loaded with talent, but there are only so many spots at the top of the mountain.
Roman Reigns solidified his spot at the top when he defeated Brock Lesnar to become the Universal Champion at SummerSlam, but it looks like someone could be coming to knock him off his pedestal.
Bodyslam.net is reporting that Drew McIntyre is in line for a big push, and that Drew is next in line to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship after Reigns finishes up with Braun Strowman.
Drew McIntyre is currently set to team up with Dolph Ziggler and Braun Strowman to face The Shield at WWE Super Show-Down in October.
Drew has been teaming with Ziggler since making his return to the main roster, and his push is expected to come out of their feud with The Shield.
