WWE Raw Star Comments On Confusion Regarding Possible Name Change

You never know who might return to WWE nowadays and last year Mia Yim was brought back to help The OC in their fight against The Judgment Day. Since then things have gotten a little confusing when it comes to Mia Yim’s name as she’s sometimes referred to as Michin.

Originally it was believed to just be a nickname, but at one point WWE changed her name to Michin on their official website before changing it back. Recently Mia Yim was asked if Michin is just a nickname on the Out Of Character podcast, and she laughed when she said, That’s a great question because I don’t know.”

“I think it was initially a nickname. The whole time I was told it was a nickname, but the biggest thing I want everyone to know is I’m okay with this name. It’s okay. Everything new — not everyone’s going to like it, I get it. But it’s better than ‘Reckoning,’ so I’m not going to complain about this name.”

Even though there seems to be some confusion regarding the name, Mia Yim noted that she’s ok with being referred to as Michin when she added, “It’s a nickname now and who knows? Maybe in the future, it could transition to being my name, which if it is, I’m okay with that, too. I just want everyone to know, you don’t have to set the building on fire. It’s okay.”
