WWE made it clear that they wanted to deliver an action packed show with Monday Night Raw this week and Jey Uso teamed up with Kofi Kingston to take on the team of Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser.
Jey Uso and Kofi Kingston ultimately picked up a win over Ludwig and Kaiser, but the victory was scored under unfortunate circumstances. At one point during the match Giovanni Vinci jumped off the second rope and Kofi Kingston hit him with a dropkick. When Vinci landed it appeared that his head hit the mat.
The referee made the call to stop the match as a medical official checked on Giovanni Vinci. Jey Uso and Kofi Kingston were declared the winners due to referee stoppage.
