This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw aired live from Glasgow, Scotland and it featured the in-ring debut of El Grande Americano who went one on one with Dragon Lee. Ultimately El Grande Americano picked up the win over his opponent.
During a recent episode of Backstage Pass Q&A, WrestleVotes discussed the reaction to the El Grande Americano vs. Dragon Lee match, and it was noted that people backstage loved it.
“I did hear there was some heavy praise coming out of that match last night. Gable and Dragon Lee killed it, crowd loved it, people backstage loved it. And that’s no surprise, Chad Gable has been getting this for years and we know what kind of talent Dragon Lee has. So good on both of them but I did hear that there was some heavy praise backstage for those two men.”
Ever since El Grande Americano made his first appearance on Raw a few weeks ago he’s quickly become one of the most talked about stars on the WWE roster, so it will be interesting to see where things go from here.
