Monday Night Raw is set to take place from the Allstate Arena and it will feature the return of CM Punk. In addition to CM Punk’s appearance WWE has also confirmed several matches for the show, but it looks like at least one advertised match may not be taking place on Raw this week.
WrestleVotes is reporting that the advertised Andrade vs. Ivar match will not be happening tonight. However, it is also being reported that Andrade will still be competing in the ring during Raw.
“Source states the advertised Andrade vs Ivar match will not be happening tonight on RAW. I’m told Andrade will still compete however.”
As of this writing WWE is still advertising Andrade vs. Ivar on their official website, so it’s not clear if WWE will simply be removing the match from the card tonight, or if the match will somehow be written out of the show. As of this writing WWE is advertising the following for Raw:
– CM Punk returns to Raw in his hometown of Chicago
– Jey Uso combats Shinsuke Nakamura
– Sami Zayn battles ‘Big’ Bronson Reed
– Ivy Nile takes on the new-look Candice LeRae
– Ricochet looks to get payback on JD McDonagh
– Andrade takes on the indomitable Ivar
