You never like to hear anyone getting injured, no matter how much they might annoy you. After all, it’s not their fault how the story is written, they’re just playing a part and putting their body on the line in the process. The reality of the situation is that pro wrestling is a tough thing to endure which is why Jim Ross always said it isn’t ballet.
Jason Jordan is a Raw Tag Team Champion at this point, but now that could be in question if his injury is severe enough because PW Insider reports Kurt Angle’s baby boy suffered an injury and he was pulled from two Texas house shows.
Considering the fact WWE was booking a lot of house shows to close with Jason Jordan who was taking over for Dean Ambrose who is also injured, this could be a big deal. Let’s hope Jason’s injury isn’t too serious, after all, WWE can’t afford to lose so many top names on the Road To WrestleMania, especially champions with title matches already being promoted for the Royal Rumble.
Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan are scheduled to defend their Raw Tag Team Championships against The Bar at The Royal Rumble on January 28th so hopefully, whatever’s wrong with JJ isn’t a big deal or they might have to employ some more creative maneuvering in booking some kind of replacement for the current replacement for Dean Ambrose.
It’s still unclear if Jason Jordan will be booked for Raw this week, but it wouldn’t surprise me to see him in some kind of role where he doesn’t have to wrestle if he’s really hurt. Little is known about this so far although it was confirmed he was pulled from those Texas shows due to injury.
It might be a wait and see kind of situation at this point but if he’s really injured then WWE needs to make a decision soon enough about what they’re going to do with the Raw Tag Team Titles. Anderson and Gallows are always available, just saying.
