Kevin Owens is one of the top stars in WWE, and he’s arguably the main heel on the SmackDown Live brand at the moment. Owens has been a major part of the show, but fans who are attending this weekend’s WWE live events won’t be seeing Kevin Owens in action.
According to WWE, he won’t be attending the live events in Argentina and Chile due to “personal reasons.” The following announcement was posted on WWE.com:
“Kevin Owens left Buenos Aires today and will not appear at the remaining Live Events in Argentina and Chile this weekend, WWE.com has learned. Though Owens did perform at Luna Park for Thursday night’s Live Event in Buenos Aires, he has left before the remaining Live Event dates scheduled in Argentina for tonight, and at the Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile, this Friday and Saturday, due to personal reasons.”
Owens isn’t the only WWE Superstar to be pulled from live events recently, AJ Styles was reportedly pulled from WWE live events due to an illness.
Bo Dallas has been out of action for weeks now, and it was recently reported that he may be dealing with viral meningitis.
At this point there seems to be some concern that the TLC card could change on Sunday due to health issues.
