This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw featured a surprise appearance from The Rock as he interrupted Cody Rhodes during Cody’s promo at the beginning of the show. The Great One whispered something to Cody Rhodes then left without addressing the crowd.
Following the main event Cody Rhodes was brawling with Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa backstage when The Rock appeared. The Final Boss proceeded to destroy The American Nightmare as he hit him with two trash cans and also threw him into a barricade. The Rock then threw Cody out of the arena and as they were brawling outside fans couldn’t help but notice that a WWE production truck featuring the faces of John Cena and Steve Austin was perfectly placed in the background.
WrestleVotes reports that everything is done on purpose, and noted that if WWE wanted to they could have very easily used production trucks with backdrops that were more WrestleMania specific.
Everything is done on purpose. Two weeks out from WrestleMania, the backdrop of these WM ‘specific’ trucks last night would have sufficed.
I’ll leave it at that… pic.twitter.com/VZJGmP9yZX

It was recently reported by the Wrestling Observer that although nothing is official the belief is that The Undertaker, John Cena and Steve Austin will have something at WrestleMania in some form.
In recent weeks fans have been speculating if more big names could get involved in Cody’s feud with The Bloodline, so it will be interesting to see how John Cena and Steve Austin are used at WrestleMania if they do appear at the event.
