This week’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown took place from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA and the show continued the build for the Extreme Rules pay-per-view.
WrestleVotes reports that WWE President Nick Khan was backstage at SmackDown this week, and that Khan was involved in meetings with Vince McMahon throughout the day.
It’s also being reported that the nature of the meetings is unknown, but a source noted that Nick Khan being at a WWE TV taping is not an everyday thing.
Nick Khan was hired by WWE in August of 2020, and he received some negative backlash from the wrestling world after he made some comments about the massive amount of releases which took place this year during an interview with BT Sport. Stay tuned for updates.
