WrestleMania 37 is getting closer and closer with each passing day, and WWE is currently using Tropicana Field as their home base for ThunderDome.
However, Jon Alba of Spectrum Sports recently confirmed that WWE will have to leave Tropicana Field by April 2nd, as the venue is being converted back to a baseball setup. The expectation is that ThunderDome will be moving to the University of South Florida’s Yuengling Center.
Post Wrestling is now reporting that the go-home episodes of Raw and SmackDown heading into WrestleMania 37 will have to be pre-taped. The taped episode of Raw will air on Monday, April 5th while the taped episode of SmackDown will air on Friday, April 9th.
The Hall of Fame will also be taped over two days at Tropicana Field, and the taping schedule is as follows:
*Monday, March 29th – Raw
*Tuesday, March 30th – Raw for 4/5 & WWE Hall of Fame
*Thursday, April 1st – SmackDown for 4/9 and WWE Hall of Fame
*Friday, April 2nd – SmackDown (Live that night)
