WWE PPV Reportedly Canceled

WWE’s pay-per-view schedule is loaded nowadays, but it looks like one upcoming event has been removed from the schedule.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the upcoming Backlash pay-per-view that was scheduled to take place on June 16th from San Diego, CA has been canceled.

WWE is planning for their next event in Saudi Arabia to take place on June 7th, but the company felt that the two shows were too close together, which is why Backlash has been canceled.

It’s expected that the live events in California which are scheduled for that weekend will be canceled as well.

WWE has yet to make an official announcement regarding their next event in Saudi Arabia, but The Undertaker is expected to appear at the show.
