WWE Possibly Spoils Big Clash Of Champions Match

Sunday night the WWE Clash of Champions pay-per-view will air on the WWE Network, and it will be the final WWE pay-per-view of 2017. Every SmackDown Live championship will be on the line, and Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will also be putting their jobs on the line when they face Shinsuke Nakamura and Randy Orton in a tag team match.

Shane McMahon recently announced that he will be the special guest referee for the match and that if Zayn and Owens lose they will be fired. Daniel Bryan later inserted himself in the match as the second special guest referee.

Even though Zayn and Owens will be putting their jobs on the line, that doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll be going anywhere, as one of them is being advertised for a new WWE show.

WWE announced today that Mixed Match Challenge will be launching on Facebook Watch in January, and it will feature mixed tag team matches with the teams being made up of stars from Raw and SmackDown Live.

On the SmackDown Live side, Sami Zayn is being advertised for Mixed Match Challenge.

Superstars being advertised for the show include:

RAW: Alexa Bliss, Alicia Fox, Asuka, Bayley, Braun Strowman, Enzo Amore, Finn Balor, Goldust, Nia Jax, Sasha Banks, The Miz, Final Fan Vote

SmackDown: Becky Lynch, Bobby Roode, Carmella, Charlotte Flair, Jimmy Uso, Lana, Naomi, Natalya, Rusev, Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, Final Fan Vote (member of The New Day)

As always, the card is subject to change, but Sami Zayn is currently set to appear on Mixed Match Challenge in January.

With animosity growing between Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan over the past few weeks, it looks like we could see an interesting finish to Owens and Zayn’s big tag team match on Sunday.
