WrestleMania week is always one of the most exciting times to be a wrestling fan, but WrestleMania week has changed drastically over the last few years with WWE expanding the Show of Shows to two nights.
Next year WWE will try to fit in two nights of WrestleMania, Raw, SmackDown, the Hall of Fame induction ceremony, and the NXT Stand & Deliver premium live event. This year NXT Stand & Deliver aired earlier in the day before night 1 of WrestleMania kicked off, but it looks like WWE could be making a change for next year’s show.
WrestleVotes is reporting that discussions are taking place regarding when NXT Stand & Deliver will air. According to the report one idea would see the event “open” WrestleMania weekend by airing the show on Thursday at the Wells Fargo Center. However, that idea has not been confirmed.
On the heels of the CW announcement, I’m told discussions have taken place regarding NXT’s “Stand & Deliver” PLE scheduled for WrestleMania weekend. Those discussions have been about the placement of the show.
Source states there is support for the show to “open” the weekend…
