It’s certainly not uncommon for WWE Superstars to have their names changed from time to time. Elias was once Elias Samson after all, and Rusev was once Alexander Rusev.
Now it looks like another WWE Superstar could be undergoing a name change, as WWE recently filed a trademark for “Colin Cassady” which could be an indication that Big Cass will be going by his previous ring name when he makes his return.
Cass has been out of action since August of 2017 after he suffered a torn ACL during a street fight with Enzo Amore on Monday Night Raw the night after SummerSlam.
But it looks like WWE fans will likely be seeing Cass make his return sooner than later, as he has reportedly been telling people that he’s been cleared for in-ring competition.
