The WWE Universe is expecting Brock Lesnar to defeat Goldberg on Sunday and leave Orlando as the new WWE Universal Champion. On paper, it seems like WWE officials have had this result planned for months, but they may have changed their minds with only days left until Sunday.
According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE officials are beginning to feel that Lesnar getting the win over Goldberg may be too predictable for the main event of WrestleMania 33. Now, it’s being rumored that Goldberg may actually defeat Brock Lesnar in their final match.
It’s also being reported that although the match isn’t expected to go too long, it will likely last longer than 2 minutes. Everything has been short up until this point because WWE didn’t want to give away the actual match.
Originally, Goldberg’s run with WWE was only meant to last for one night at Survivor Series before WWE pulled a big swerve and had shocked the world. The entire feud has been about shocking the WWE Universe, so why not end the feud the exact same way they started it?
