Last night on Raw, WWE officials sent a lot of talent from SmackDown to Raw during the first night of the “Superstar Shakeup.” There will be another night of roster moves, but WWE took Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, The Miz, Alexa Bliss, and others from the brand in one evening.

Many of these issues are going to be fixed, but SmackDown Live lost a lot of the stars that gave the show its unique identity. The brand doesn’t have a midcard championship right now, and the women’s division just lost two big players. Tonight will be a big deal for the blue brand.
It’s true that Shinsuke Nakamura and Tye Dillinger debuted for the brand last week, but the WWE Universe is concerned about WWE taking too many stars away from SmackDown and bringing them to Raw. There is a specific reason why WWE is doing the shake-ups this way.
It’s being reported by CageSideSeats that WWE officials view SmackDown as an “incubator” for the company that the powers that be can continue to use to groom new stars and bring them to Raw whenever they’re established or successful enough to be on WWE’s flagship show.
