WWE Officials Reportedly Impressed With NXT Star

It’s certainly not uncommon got WWE to call up NXT stars the night after WrestleMania, but that’s not what happened this year. Instead it appears that the main roster call ups are being saved for the WWE Draft which is set to kick off on Friday, and a number of names are rumored for potential call ups.

In recent weeks NXT stars have been competing against main roster stars during the Main Event tapings prior to Raw, and this week Cora Jade faced off against Nikki Cross. Cora Jade has been one of the stars to watch in NXT and it seems that she impressed the right people on Monday night.

PWInsider is reporting that Cora Jade’s performance in her match against Nikki Cross on Main Event was well received, and it’s being said that Jade is now “in the race” for a potential main roster call up.

Cora Jade first signed with WWE in January of 2021, and during her time with the NXT brand she’s managed to capture the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship one time with Roxanne Perez. Triple H has confirmed that every single Superstar is eligible to be drafted, so it will be interesting to see if Cora Jade ends up on the main roster during the WWE Draft.
