Over the last few years fans have seen quite a few wrestlers get called up to the main roster from NXT with varying levels of success.
One talent who has been getting a lot of attention since joining the NXT brand is none other than Karrion Kross, and even Randy Orton recently made it clear that he wants to work with Kross.
Dave Meltzer recently talked about the former NXT Champion’s status on Wrestling Observer Radio and he noted that Kross is someone who is being groomed for the main roster.
“Karrion Kross is being groomed for the main roster. Roderick Strong, who can work rings around Karrion Kross, may never be on the main roster. It’s just how it is. They can’t wait to get Karrion Kross on the main roster. He’s gonna go through with whatever he needs to go through before he gets there, but he’s getting there.”
At this point it’s not clear when Kross might be joining the main roster, but it seems that he’s primed to make an impact when he gets there.
