Daniel Bryan immediately informed the WWE Universe that he’d address the controversial win by Carmella on SmackDown Live tomorrow night. However, the solution for the match has already been revealed, and WWE officials are planning a huge rematch for WWE fans.
After Money in the Bank, Dave Meltzer appeared on The Law: Live Audio Wrestling and speculated that Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon might announce a rematch for the Money in the Bank briefcase between the five women who competed at the PPV. WWE officials are hoping this will provide a huge ratings boost for an upcoming episode.
The powers that be like the idea because it will help ratings, but WWE PPVs also don’t cost as much as fifty dollars anymore, so giving away an MITB Ladder Match on free television would be a way to boost SmackDown Live’s ratings for at least one show over the next few weeks.
