WWE Officials Have Mixed Feelings Regarding Elias Samson’s Push

Elias Samson’s WWE career is very much up in the air right now. His “Drifter” gimmick has left everyone on the fence about him. Samson is still establishing himself on Raw. The fans are still trying to figure him out, but it turns out that WWE officials are doing the same.

It’s being reported by Rajah that there are mixed feelings regarding Elias Samson behind the scenes with WWE officials right now. Vince McMahon and many others are said to be “absolutely enamored” with his physique. He’s even being compared with Randy Savage.

Many WWE officials see him as a major star in the long term, but the general feeling is he has a lot of work to do in the ring and as a performer. He’s considered to be a little “rough around the edges” in the ring and needs to “polish up” before receiving a bigger push.

WWE’s roster is extremely deep right now and there is plenty of time for Elias Samson to develop his gimmick and skills in the ring. His run in NXT wasn’t extensive either, so he will likely be considered a work in progress for officials for quite some time on WWE television.
