At last night’s WWE live event in Wichita, Kansas it was announced early in the show that the company was offering refunds due to the fact that CM Punk wasn’t at the event. There were apparently a lot of CM Punk chants throughout the night and The Shield acknowledged the chants in a promo by saying the fans should all be glad that Punk went home.
It’s also worth noting that at the WWE live event which took place in Orlando, FL last night Randy Orton cut a promo prior to his match with John Cena where he was quoted as saying “if at first you don’t succeed, quit.” Fans who attended the show mentioned that it came off like it was supposed to be a shot at CM Punk.
