Over the last few months fans have seen some big returns and you never know when another familiar face might decide to step back into the ring.
It was recently reported that Alberto Del Rio had been telling people he’s returning to WWE once his legal issues involving the alleged assault on his ex-girlfriend clear up, and the rumor has left fans to wonder if it could really happen.
Fightful Select is reporting that sources within the company have heard nothing about conversations between Alberto Del Rio and WWE. One source reportedly offered the following comment in response to the idea of Del Rio returning to the company: “Could you imagine if we let go of some of the people we did, only to bring him in? There’s no f**king way that happens.”
Fightful also noted that the last time they asked about Alberto Del Rio potentially returning to the company several sources said that WWE would not want to put Paige in a position where she had to be around him.
