The Rock’s been paid a percentage as opposed to a guarantee, tied into the pay-per-view revenue, for his recent WrestleMania matches.
The Rock previously mentioned in an interview that he would come back if the deal was similar to his others but with WWE pay-per-view being so far down due to the WWE Network and the change in pay-per-view business, The Wrestling Observer noted that it may not be financially feasible for WWE.
It will be interesting to see how this works out for next year as The Rock has long been rumored to be the leading candidate for a WWE Hall of Fame induction around WrestleMania 31.
