Last month WWE’s deal with Endeavor officially closed and WWE merged with UFC to form TKO. Following the merger WWE cut over 100 office employees and released a number of wrestlers. Now it seems that another departure has been confirmed.
PWInsider is reporting that Rich Hering recently parted ways with WWE last month shortly after Endeavor’s deal with WWE closed. However, it was noted that the departure was not due to the merger as the company would have wanted him to stay, but Hering decided that it was time for him to quietly exit.
Rich Hering had been a WWE employee for more than 50 years and in 2021 he received the Warrior Award at the Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Originally Hering joined the company when it was run by Vince McMahon Sr. He was working as the Senior Vice President of Government Relations and Risk Management when he parted ways with WWE.
Stay tuned for more updates on WWE departures as they become available.
