WWE Monday Night Raw Results 8/4/2014

The Authority comes out. Triple H plugs the WWE Network ad nauseum. Orton grabs the mic and talks trash about Reigns until Reigns interrupts. Triple H makes a last man standing match featuring Reigns against Kane.

 

Roman Reigns vs. Kane (Last Man Standing Match)

Basically these two tried to kill each other for a while. Reigns fights out, hits the ropes, and delivers a big spear. The ref starts the count and gets to the 10 count before Kane can get to his feet.

Winner: Roman Reigns

We get a Brock Lesnar promo video hyping SummerSlam

Back on Raw, Damien Sandow comes out dressed as an Oklahoma Sooner football player.

Mark Henry vs. Damien Sandow

Sandow starts off with a kick to the gut, but Henry tosses him away and hits a clothesline. Henry picks up Sandow and hits the world’s strongest slam. Henry covers and gets the 3 count.

Winne: Mark Henry

Alberto Del Rio vs. Dean Ambrose (Beat the Clock Challenge)

Ambrose picks up Del Rio and goes for Dirty Deeds, but Del Rio counters and attacks the left arm of Ambrose. Del Rio goes for the cross arm breaker again, but Ambrose counters into Dirty Deeds for the 3 count.

Winner by Pinfall at 15:42: Dean Ambrose

Rusev now makes his way to the ring with Lana. Rusev and Lana will address the WWE Universe after the commercial break.

Lana and Rusev do their usual schtick until Zeb and Swagger interrupt. They talk trash back and forth until Swagger and Rusev brawl. Rusev gets the upper hand and throws Swagger out of the ring.

Cesaro vs. Dolph Ziggler

Ziggler tries a roll up, but Cesaro stops it and lifts Ziggler up for a stalling suplex. Ziggler fights out and hits the Zig Zag for the 3 count.

Winner by Pinfall – Dolph Ziggler

After the match, The Miz climbs in the ring. Miz holds up the WWE Intercontinental Champion in the face of Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler goes for a superkick, but Miz falls to the ground and covers up his face. Ziggler smiles and walks away.

Backstage Tom Phillips talks to Paige and Paige says she wishes AJ a speedy recovery.

Rybaxel vs. Goldust and Stardust

Goldust and Ryback now in the ring and Goldust tosses Ryback into the steel ring post. Stardust connects with his finisher and covers Axel for the 3 count.

Winners:Goldust and Stardust

Kane walks in to Triple H and Stephanie’s office and takes his mask off with his back turned. He hands his mask to Stephanie and walks away. Stephanie and Triple H look at the mask in confusion.

Chris Jericho vs. Luke Harper

Harper tries to attack from behind, but Jericho catches him with a codebreaker as well. Bray now slides in the ring and hits Jericho in the throat. Bray grabs Jericho and connects with Sister Abigail. Bray drags Jericho to the center of the ring and tells everyone to follow the buzzards.

Winner by DQ: Chris Jericho

-Commercial Break-

Diego vs. Fandango

Diego connects with a back stabber and pins Fandango for the 3 count.

Winner: Diego

Bo Dallas vs. R-Truth

Truth goes for a scissor kick, but Bo moves and rolls up Truth. Bo grabs the tights and gets the 3 count.

Winner: Bo Dallas

After the match, Truth grabs Bo and tosses him multiple times into the barricade. Truth lands some hard right hands, but Bo pushes Truth back first into the steel steps. Bo connects with the Bo-Dog on the outside.

Bray Wyatt comes out and cuts a promo to hype his match with Chris Jericho.

Rob Van Dam vs. Seth Rollins (Beat the Clock Challenge)

Before the match starts, Justin Roberts announces that Rob Van Dam will not be Seth Rollins’ opponent. His new opponent, will be Heath Slater.

Heath Slater vs. Seth Rollins

Rollins keeps looking over at Ambrose. Ambrose steals JBL’s hat and puts it in the briefcase. Slater rolls up Rollins from behind and pins him for the 3 count.

Winner: Heath Slater

After the match, Rollins goes over and grabs his briefcase and dumps everything out of it. Rollins is very angry and trashing the ringside area.

Stephanie and Triple H come out for the contract signing with The Bellas. As you can guess it turns into a brawl and Stephanie pedigrees both Bellas to end the show.
